About Me
A qualified lawyer-linguist with broad experience in the law publishing industry, I am currently Managing Editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice (Oxford University Press) and Commissioning Editor of the Journal of World Energy Law & Business (Oxford University Press). Prior to this, I was Senior Publishing Editor for the intellectual property law list at Sweet & Maxwell, which includes journals, law reports, monographs and major titles such as Kerly’s Law of Trade Marks and Trade Names and Copinger and Skone James on Copyright.
As a translator working from French to English, I offer my services to agencies and direct clients. I have experience of translating a wide range of legal documents; previous clients have included a Swiss Bank and European luxury fashion house.
Outside work, I am happiest when on the move, whether that be walking, trekking, cycling, practising Pilates, or driving around in my beloved (Oxford-built!) Mini Cooper. I love cooking and baking - especially French pâtisserie - and travelling and exploring new places and cultures at every opportunity.
